Markiva does not upload your PDFs by default. Watermarking is handled locally in your browser with browser APIs and pdf-lib, which makes it useful for confidential PDF watermark tasks, internal reviews, and files that should not be sent to an unknown server.
You can preview the watermarked PDF before downloading. Very large PDFs may be limited by available browser memory, and encrypted, password-protected, or corrupt PDFs may not be editable until they are unlocked or repaired.
Local by default
PDF, logo, preview, and export processing run in the browser unless you add your own server integration.
Installable PWA
Install Markiva from your browser prompt for faster access. The main app shell can reopen offline after it has been cached once.
